Moon-Matz Ltd. was hired by Metrolinx to carry out preliminary design and to act as the owners engineering representative overseeing the design / build mechanical and electrical work. East Gwillimbury Bus Servicing and Storage Facility is a GO Class “B” bus facility providing minor repairs and servicing functions, as well as indoor storage for GO buses that are outpost to streamline operations. Scope of the project included: Indoor bus storage with capacity for 35 buses, Inspection pit bay and oil/coolant change function, Fuel tank and distribution, dispensing equipment, Heating ventilation & air condition system, building automation system. New electrical service, power supply & distribution, interior and exterior lighting, emergency and full generator back up power system for radio, phone and IT systems.
